Hi. My name is Guillermo Martin, and I am a father, educator, and the creator of the Cooperation Paradigm.

For years, I worked within systems (educational, corporate, and social) that rewarded competition, hierarchy, and individualism. But no matter how much we optimized or achieved, something essential was missing: trust, connection, and true prosperity.

Then came a turning point: I realized these systems weren’t broken. They worked exactly as designed, but were built on outdated assumptions of fear and scarcity.

The Birth of the Cooperation Paradigm

In 2010, I had an impactful experience that prompted a deep yet simple question: 

What is causing the struggle and suffering that we see in the world? The answer: competition. I realized that our whole system was based on an obsolete way of thinking, the competitive paradigm.

That started years of research and questions to challenge the status quo. Drawing from systems thinking, evolutionary biology, education reform, and spiritual traditions, I began to map the foundational shifts needed to move from fear to trust, from zero-sum outcomes to collective thriving.

📘 It became a book. Then a movement.

What started as a personal inquiry became a framework. That framework became a book. And now, it’s a growing community of leaders, creators, and change-makers who believe that a better system starts with a better paradigm.

We’re here to replace the fear-based operating system with one rooted in:

• Abundance over scarcity

• Collaboration over competition

• Human dignity over transactional efficiency

• This is about more than theory.
